Joseph Salim, DMD, General and Cosmetic Dentistry - Described as "a professional in every respect," Dr. Joseph Salim is considered the cornerstone of Sutton Place Dental Associates (SPDA).
Like most of the doctors at SPDA, Dr. Salim has had significant international experience. "Having international experience provides you with a positive, global perspective and allows you to interact comfortably with people from various cultures and backgrounds." In addition, being fluent in several languages has enabled him to attend many seminars in Europe, where some of the most innovative dental techniques and products are often introduced.
Dr. Salim received his Masters of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Nice, France, where he completed his research in Genetic Engineering and Oncology. He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry with honors in 1992, and thereafter completed his General Practice Residency at the Lutheran Medical Center in New York in 1993.
Dr. Salim has received numerous awards, and in 1989 was the recipient of a grant for outstanding academic achievement. As with all doctors at SPDA, Dr. Salim regularly attends seminars and classes to remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field, including the rapidly growing field of cosmetic dentistry.
