About Dr. Mina Elahi
Dr. Mina Elahi graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1993 and completed her postgraduate studies in Pediatric Dentistry at NYU in 1995. Alongside her thriving dental practice with her husband, she spent close to a decade as a part-time attending at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Over the years, Dr. Elahi’s child-centered approach and “Tell-Show-Do” method with her patients has evoked the appreciation and gratitude of countless parents. As growth and development featured prominently in her dental training, she is also engaged in the practice of orthodontic treatments for both children and adults, especially Invisalign.
From a professionally designed setting for kids featuring a beautiful handmade mural to the use of the latest techniques in pediatric dentistry and child psychology, Dr. Elahi ensures that every aspect of a child’s dental experience will be a pleasant one, engendering a positive attitude that makes subsequent visits enjoyable and easier to handle for parents. Aside from her work as a pediatric dentist, Dr. Elahi is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in the administration of Botulinum Toxins and Dermal Fillers. Fluent in five languages, she enjoys literature, poetry, and calligraphy in her spare time, and is also a certified yoga instructor.
