For my initial consultation Dr. Malek took the time explaining what is needed to be done for my root canal. He made me feel comfortable with his capabilities. This is a much better experience than my previous Endodontist who was rushed.

Sutton Place Dental is a very well-run dental practice with a highly professional staff who make you feel as family. Dr. Malek is a supremely talented endodontist who has done two root canals for me, and both were marvelously done without any issues. He also decided not to do a root canal on a tooth that my general dentist had flagged as a candidate. I greatly trust and respect his judgment. Delia and Elizabeth and the rest of the staff are highly professional and terrific at helping find the most economical treatment solutions and work with your insurance companies. I was very happy with the service that they provided.

Dr. Malek is the most patient dentist that I have met. I have Anxiety so I know it's not easy for him but I must say that he has never let me feel like I'm less of a person (believe me when I tell you that others have made me feel like that). Dr. Malek is an extremely professional Endodontist I highly recommend. Performed root canal treatment and I felt no pain after the procedure. They made my procedure very comfortable and I was able to return back to work the same day. Everyone in the office was professional and friendly. This office has excellent COVID-19 precautions in place and is extremely clean. I recommend booking early as appointments fill up quickly at Sutton Place Dental Associates.

I had to get a molar tooth pulled today and a root canal two weeks prior. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with Sutton Place Dental!! I was looking for the pain but without saying anything to Dr. Michael Rashad, he must've read my mind because he put numbing gel on my gums prior to any needles, and I actually laughed during my visit! Both experiences, the root canal with Dr. Matthew Malek and one molar tooth pulled with Dr. Rashad were both surprisingly painless due to their competence and excellent skill. The front desk also compliments the doctors as they are very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with the clients!! Thanks Sutton Place Dental! I will be bringing my daughter on the next visit!! :o)

Dr. Malek is wonderful! Explained in great detail exactly what was going on with my tooth and what he was going to do. It made me feel apart of my treatment and taken cared of. My root canal went smoothly, felt no pain and he was gentle which I appreciated because of the "rough" dental experiences I've had in the past.The front desk was great as well, very welcoming and kind. Overall a very good experience!

I was pretty scared to go to a new dentist based on some pad experiences in the past. But for the first time in my life, I actually enjoy going to the dentist! The front office staff is organized, friendly, and professional and they always let you know costs well ahead of time. I've had many procedures here and all of them have been great. Dr. Nazeri is my main dentist and she is truly the best- straightforward about what you need and doesn't try to sell you anything like some dentists. She is super professional, and does incredible work. Dr. Malek did a root canal for me and I didn't feel a thing during or after- he's also super nice and makes you feel comfortable. Honestly, everyone here is amazing and if you are thinking about going- do it, you can't go wrong here!
Dr. Malek completed his advanced education in Endodontics at the NYU College of Dentistry with extensive training on the use of advanced Endodontic techniques in surgical and nonsurgical procedures. He is currently a Diplomate of the American Association of Endodontics.
Dr. Malek received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from NYU, where he received several letters of appreciation, as well as the Arthur Charles Hull and Samuel and Hannah Holzman Award for showing the greatest proficiency in Endodontics. He has also completed the orofacial pain management course at NYU with honors.
In addition to his special clinical training, Dr. Malek has a keen interest in teaching, and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the department of Endodontics at NYU, and is the director of the Advanced Endodontics course for Post-graduate students. He is also involved with several research projects at NYU concerning the clinical advances in the field of Endodontics. Dr. Malek regularly participates in outreach programs and medical missions that aim to promote access to dental care in underprivileged areas throughout the globe.
