Smile makeover: a step-by-step approach
During the first consultation, you would share with Dr. Salim how you like your smile to improve. Then, he will let you know about all available options to support that change. He will also ensure that tooth decay or gum disease do not hinder you from proceeding with a smile makeover.
The first phase of a smile makeover will include photographs and digital imaging. These two tools will help evaluate the relationship between your facial features and teeth’ position, texture, shade, and color.
Sometimes, Dr. Salim could temporarily change your teeth’ length, shape, and spacing. He will do this by applying a special tooth-colored material. You will thus be able to preview your new smile right in our office before applying the final restorations.
A ceramist may create a sculpted wax duplicate to help you visualize the outcome before starting.
Once you are happy with the outlook, our ceramist will use all the information Dr. Salim will provide to create the final restoration(s)
